Canaletto walnut

An wood species carefully selected for its light sapwood (the lightest part of the grain), which is enhanced by brushing to provide even more vivid tones and greater porosity. The result is a wood that transports you into nature with a single touch and visually takes on many different nuances.

Our manufacturing processes are environmentally friendly because for us, design means living in a more sustainable world! All our creations are Made in Italy and undergo strict quality controls.

The leather has been carefully selected to meet the strict standards of quality and environmental sustainability. Our leather is of Italian origin (Leather from Italy – full cycle UNI EN 16484 certification) and is certified for low environmental impact and reduced emissions (Carbon footprint of products – ISO 14067: 2018; der Blaue Engel – RAL UZ 148); Environmental Product Declarations – EPD® System ISO 14025. Canaletto walnut wood enjoys provenance traceability and is finished using oil to ensure filling capacity and excellent water-resistant properties as well as a pleasant ‘soft touch’ effect. In addition, it is also antistatic and resistant to UV rays, which slows down the normal oxidation processes in the wood. The oil is lead- and cobalt-free and is safe for the production of wooden toys for children. This is an extremely environmentally friendly product, rated as class A+ by French regulation DEVL1104875A, and certified according to DIN 53160-1, DIN 53160-2, BGR 181 and DIN 51130. Printing on glass is non-toxic and odourless and uses environmentally friendly HP latex inks. It is Greenguard certified (low chemical emissions; UL 2818) and ECOLOGO® (reduced environmental impact; UL 2801).

Combinations studied with great attention to bring together the essence of open pore white oak with Trinity White marble, or warm Canaletto walnut with the amber shades of Patagonia marble, or Laguna oak with green notes with the depth of brushed Breccia Imperiale marble
by white veins.

Product Care

WOOD AND MDF Our furniture pieces, in solid wood and genuine MDF veneered wood are handcrafted items of the highest quality, finished using natural oil. Maintenance of these pieces is easy and only a few steps are required to keep them in good condition.

For daily cleaning of oil-finished furniture, a dry cloth is all that is required as the finish preserves the natural structure of the wood. Water should be avoided, as it displaces the oil in the wood pores, in addition to contact with chemical substances that may create stains or halos. A light protective oil may be applied from time to time to revitalise up the piece of furniture. When cleaning flat surfaces, motion should be horizontal or vertical and be parallel to the grain of the wood as much as possible, avoiding circular motions which may create halos. It should also be remembered that real wood furniture exposed to direct light changes its colour over time. This change is considered to be a natural process of oxidation of the raw material.

GLASS Patterned glass parts may be cleaned using a cotton cloth and glass cleaning products.
