Canaletto walnut wood
A wood species carefully selected for its light sapwood (the lightest part of the grain), which is enhanced by brushing to provide even more vivid tones and greater porosity. The result is a wood that transports you into nature with a single touch and visually takes on many different nuances.
100 gloss lacquer
A thick and deep lacquer that expresses quality and know-how.
The wood used in Morica’s production processes is traceable, and the coatings used to create our products are water-based and supplied by ISO 14001-certified companies. Our production is environmentally conscious because, for us, design also means living in a more sustainable world. All our creations are Made in Italy and undergo strict quality controls.
For Canaletto walnut Terra Diamond wood, we use an eco-sustainable “Pure Wood” effect finish that preserves the natural character of the wood to the eye and gives it an untreated feel to the touch. This finish is based on renewable raw materials, certified according to ÖNORM A 1605-12, ÖNORM A 3800-1 and DIN 68861, and classified as A+ under French regulation DEVL1104875A.

Product Care
WOOD AND MDF Our furniture pieces, in solid wood and genuine MDF veneered wood, are handcrafted items of the highest quality, finished using varnishes with a very low environmental impact. Maintenance of these pieces is easy and only a few steps are required to keep them in good condition.
For daily cleaning of furniture with an eco-sustainable water-based finish, simply use a dry or slightly damp cloth; for more persistent stains, use a vegetable sponge with water and mild soap. Oils and waxes must not be used on water-finished furniture. Chemical agents that may damage the coatings and create further stains or marks should also be avoided. When cleaning flat surfaces, movements should be horizontal or vertical and, as far as possible, parallel to the wood grain. Please also note that real wood furniture exposed to direct light sources changes colour over time. This variation should be considered a natural oxidation process of the raw material.
METAL The metal parts with an epoxy powder coating on Morica pieces must be cleaned using a soft cloth moistened with mild soap and water. Under no circumstances should abrasive products, powders, chlorine-based products, acids or bleach be used as they may oxidise or blacken the metal.
GLASS and MIRROR For daily cleaning of glass and mirror use specific products and a soft cloth.
