Laguna oak
Skilful twofold brushing of the raw material using iron and tinex has furnished an sessile oak variant that is inspired by the Venetian lagoon, where the dominant colour is a dark sessile oak grain with lead green detail.
Magma lacquer
A texture, dark grey finish - deep and almost volcanic. Its ultra-fine grain recalls the feel of sand to the touch.
Metal
The metal is varnished using baked-on powders, with no use of solvents. A high-quality finish that guarantees not only optimum durability and strength but also respect for the environment, which we all require.
The wood used in Morica’s production processes is FSC® Chain of Custody certified, guaranteeing supply chain traceability and the origin of the raw material from responsibly managed forests. The coatings used to create our products are water-based and supplied by ISO 14001-certified companies. Our production is environmentally conscious because, for us, design also means living in a more sustainable world. All our creations are Made in Italy and undergo strict quality controls.
For Laguna oak wood, we use an eco-sustainable “Pure Wood” effect finish that preserves the natural character of the wood to the eye and gives it an untreated feel to the touch. This finish is based on renewable raw materials, certified according to ÖNORM A 1605-12, ÖNORM A 3800-1 and DIN 68861, and classified as A+ under French regulation DEVL1104875A. Epoxy powder coatings ensure excellent mechanical resistance, corrosion resistance, also suitable for coastal locations, remarkable durability over time and impact resistance. As they are heat-cured, they are completely solvent-free.

Product Care
WOOD AND MDF Our real wood-veneered furniture pieces are exceptionally high-quality handcrafted products, finished with coatings with a very low environmental impact. These products are easy to maintain and require only a few simple precautions to preserve their appearance over time.
For daily cleaning of furniture with eco-sustainable, water-based finishes, simply use a dry or slightly moistened cloth, while in the case of persistent stains use a vegetable sponge with mild soap and water. No oils or waxes should be used on furniture containing water-based finishes. Chemicals should also be avoided as they may corrode the varnish and create additional stains or halos. When cleaning flat surfaces, motion should be horizontal or vertical and be parallel to the grain of the wood as much as possible. It should also be remembered that real wood furniture exposed to direct light changes its colour over time. This change is considered to be a natural process of oxidation of the raw material.
MAGMA LACQUER Parts can be cleaned with a damp, lint-free cloth. Solvent-based products or products containing chemical components must not be used, in order to avoid stains and marks.
