Carefully selected woods that have been brushed to bring out their pores and grains. Hand crafted leather with tone-on-tone stitching that delicately enhances the canneté effect.

with real Laguna sessile oak veneer,

Two doors upholstered in anthracite-coloured genuine leather
crafted by hand to create an irregular,
rounded ‘canneté’ effect with a solid wood profile joined at 45°
and a hollow to aid opening.
Three drawers in MDF veneered in real Laguna sessile oak,
finished using varnishes with a very low environmental impact,
with handle insert in real sage-coloured nubuck leather.
The dresser interior consists of two 6 mm shelves in clear smoked glass
with height-adjustable shelf supports.
Powder-coated curved metal base in a dark burnished finish
with genuine brushed brass detail.
Soft-closing drawer guides and push-pull mechanisms
for doors in leather.

Materials
STRUCTURE Real wood veneered MDF finished using varnishes with a very low environmental impact. Two doors upholstered in genuine handcrafted leather for an irregular ‘canneté’ effect, and three inner drawers in real wood veneered MDF. Genuine leather handle detail. Inner shelves in clear smoked glass.
BASE Dark burnished curved metal with brushed brass detail.
Frame
The calendered metal frame, with its arched shape and genuine brass detail, provides great value to the dresser as a whole.
Leather
The craftsmanship of the leather provides a particularly supple, uniform appearance, which is soft and light to the touch. The handcrafted threading makes each product unique and artisanal. The experience of our craftsmen, working diligently in the production of Italian design and quality, materialises into an eco-sustainable choice.
Laguna oak
Skilful twofold brushing of the raw material using iron and tinex has furnished an sessile oak variant that is inspired by the Venetian lagoon, where the dominant colour is a dark sessile oak grain with lead green detail.
The wood used in Morica’s manufacturing processes is FSC® – Chain of Custody certified, which guarantees traceability of the supply chain and the provenance of raw materials from responsibly managed forests. The varnishes used to make our pieces are water-based and are sourced from ISO14001 certified companies. Our manufacturing processes are environmentally friendly because for us, design means living in a more sustainable world! All our creations are Made in Italy and undergo strict quality controls.
The leather has been carefully selected to meet the strict standards of quality and environmental sustainability. Our leather is of Italian origin (Leather from Italy – full cycle UNI EN 16484 certification) and is certified for low environmental impact and reduced emissions (Carbon footprint of products – ISO 14067: 2018; der Blaue Engel – RAL UZ 148); Environmental Product Declarations – EPD® System ISO 14025.
A dresser fully clad in wood with doors profiled in solid wood joined at 45° and a hollowed handle. Push-pull mechanisms for the leather doors supported by three burnished hinges and soft-closing mechanisms for the wooden doors or drawers. Passion and focus on the minutest detail are mirrored in the quality of a Morica piece.
Product Care
WOOD AND MDF Our furniture pieces, in solid wood and genuine MDF veneered wood, are handcrafted items of the highest quality, finished using varnishes with a very low environmental impact. Maintenance of these pieces is easy and only a few steps are required to keep them in good condition.
For daily cleaning of furniture with eco-sustainable, water-based finishes, simply use a dry or slightly moistened cloth, while in the case of persistent stains use a vegetable sponge with mild soap and water. No oils or waxes should be used on furniture containing water-based finishes. Chemicals should also be avoided as they may corrode the varnish and create additional stains or halos.
LEATHER To clean parts in nubuck leather, simply use a cotton cloth moistened with water or a little mild soap. A couple of times a year, depending on wear, specific nubuck leather care products can be used to moisturise and provide elasticity, which also create a protective, water-repellent film that will facilitate cleaning.
